HDR Update

Our spring time festival, Floriade, is in full swing. I hope the plantings around Canberra are brightening your outside wanderings and activities. Friends and family are an important source of support for our HDR community. Easing COVID restrictions in the ACT provides an opportunity to reconnect and to give and receive support from others and helps us to manage our own wellbeing during this difficult period. And don’t forget that ANU provides a range of support services. Reach out to get help if you need to.

We are continuing to provide virtual development opportunities for HDR candidates. Our 3MT competition was a great show, highlighting the impact of research being carried out by our HDR candidates. Congratulations to our winners: First prize, Tharika Liyanage (COS) and Runner up, Angus Rae (COS). And to Nishadi Kirielle (CECS) who took out the People’s choice award.  Why not have a go next year to see what you can do in 3 minutes?
