Research Digest February 2016 Edition

Welcome back from the holiday break!

This year will be an exciting year for us all, with a new Vice Chancellor who is very much committed to ANU providing a great PhD program. During the year we will be working through the impact of recent government initiatives affecting our sector (the Watt Review of Research Funding and the National Innovation statement) and we'll update you in a joint communication (with PARSA) about the implications for HDR students. On January 1st the new Research Award Rules came into effect - you can find links to all the new policies fro the postgraduate research student webpage and we'll be circulating a summary of the main effects these will have.
I wish you all well for the year ahead.
