Oral exams forum: your chance to give feedback

ANU is considering adding an oral component to the PhD and MPhil examination process. We have been running an oral exams pilot for the last three years to test the process and understand what kind of training and support would be needed.

We are now at the last stage: proposing models for ANU to consider. The final decision will be made by the Higher Degrees by Research committee, but this forum is a chance to have input into the decision making process. This will also be your only chance to ask questions of the Dean HDR and her team in a live forum. You can attend in person or online.

Thesis Boot Camp

The Thesis Boot Camp is back! Join us for the 'write 20,000 words on a weekend' challenge in December. The concept of Thesis Boot Camp is disarmingly simple. Put a group of people experiencing similar issues in the same room for a weekend, feed them regularly and provide a reward for each 5,000 words written. Think it can't be done? Come along and find out. The registrations close on 16 Nov 2022
