Pamela Lourandos

Associate Director, Corporate Communications & Engagement

Pam is a strategic communications specialist with more than a decade of experience in event management and public relations, with a proven track record of translating strategic initiatives into actionable communication activities.

She has been responsible for delivering major University traditions including Commencement, Grand Graduation, State of the University and the Vice-Chancellor and Chancellor's Annual Awards.

As a project lead, she orchestrated the ANU Australia in Davos reception, as part of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Switzerland demonstrating adept project management skills and high-level stakeholder coordination.

With a background in executive and corporate communication, Pam stands as a trusted authority and advisor for senior executive leadership, trusted to write in the voice of the Vice-Chancellor and Chancellor.

An experienced crisis communicator, she has coordinated institutional response during incidents including the summer bushfires of 2020, the 2020 Canberra hailstorm and COVID-19 stakeholder communications.

She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Canberra, and completed a Bachelor of Public Relations and Bachelor of Communication in Advertising during her undergraduate years. She is also a certified Digital Marketing Professional through the Digital Marketing Institute.

In her current role as Associate Director, Pam leads the Corporate Communications and Engagement team – the University’s central point for corporate and internal communication, community engagement and public events.
