Transport & parking

The University has selected Orikan as the new parking management system provider. Please continue to pay and park as per the current signage, until it is replaced in December. Pay and display machines on campus will also be removed from Monday 2 December and replaced with PayStay virtual meters.

The ANU Acton campus caters to student, staff and visitor transport and parking. Our goals are to support our community in getting to and around campus safely, and to facilitate doing this in a way that reduces environmental impacts. Active and shared transport reduces the number of vehicles travelling to campus and promotes health and wellbeing for our community and the environment.

Parking spaces on campus are limited, and we recommend that you consider other options, such as catching a bus or tram, carpooling, cycling or walking to campus. Choosing these more sustainable forms of transport can improve health and wellbeing, reduce our carbon footprint and save money and time.

Parking restrictions apply on campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week unless stated otherwise. ePermit, PayStay, and time limited zones are in force from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, public holidays excepted.

The Parking Office reception counter is in the Fulton Muir Building and is open from 9:30am-4:00pm Monday to Friday. This counter manages parking enquiries, payments and printing of Security cards. The Parking Office team can also be contacted by email at parking@anu.edu.au.

Parking permit

Drivers wishing to park on campus must pay to do so either by purchasing a ePermit, subject to meeting eligibility criteria, or by using PayStay parking. Further information is available on Parking options on Acton campus

If you are no longer parking on campus and wish to cancel your permit please log in to your ePermit account and Request Cancellation - cancellation is not automatic.
