Whole of Australian Government Arrangements
Whole of Australian Government Arrangements (WoAG) are setup for Commonwealth entities (such as ANU) to use for procuring certain goods or services. Overarching contracts or Standing Offer Notice (SON i.e. “panel”) arrangements supply goods or services for a set period of time, under agreed terms and conditions, including agreed pricing. The depth of panel arrangements the University has joined is extensive, and ANU end users are recommended to assess the suitability and value for money capabilities of WoAG Panels to ensure they are fit for purpose. Where an appropriate WoAG arrangement is available and suitable for the requirement, business areas may use the arrangement without seeking an exemption. Business areas must still ensure that the relevant ANU procurement requirements, including probity considerations, conflict of interest declarations and approval processes, are followed and must be able to demonstrate how value for money has been achieved. For further information please refer to the Procurement Online Guide or email the Procurement Office at procurement.office@anu.edu.au.
