Gap analysis of WHS documentation underway
The first part of the WHS Improvement project is underway and involves a Gap Analysis of Work Health and Safety (WHS) documentation in each of the local areas.
An external consultant has completed one-on-one interviews with WHS officers in a variety of Schools and Colleges to gather a sampling of the documentation that currently exists across the university. These interviews were very successful in understanding the WHS system and business needs.
A written analysis of this documentation will be developed and include recommendations on how to proceed with making improvements to the WHS Management System and meeting the requirements of the National Audit Tool (Cth).
Findings from the gap analysis will be presented in mid to late March.
