HDR Administrative Support Project update
In December 2014, the Service Improvement Group commenced discussions with KPMG to complete delivery of Phase 1 of the HDR Administrative Support Project. KPMG's strong experience working with Monash University on projects including 'Research Administration Strengthening' and 'HDR Admissions & Scholarship Improvement' projects were of particular relevance to progress the project within the desired timeframes.
Given the strategic priority as one of the three 'flagship' service improvement projects of the University, and KPMG's proven experience and track record, it has been agreed that KPMG will be engaged to support delivery of the project. This will build on the analysis work undertaken to date and be informed by insights and experience from similar administrative support improvement initiatives. It is planned that Phase 1 of the project will be delivered within a four month period from February - May 2015.
The various consultative and governance groups for the project will resume in mid-February 2015.
