Research Data Quality

The Data Quality team (DQ) Unit sits within the central Research Services Division under the DVC(RI) portfolio. The team ensures that the University meets its compliance and reporting obligations for the annual Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC) and Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA), as well as supporting other governance commitments. The team does this by maintaining and developing training materials to support accurate data entry for the ARIES grant and publication modules and by reviewing business practices to ensure continuous process improvement.
