Office of the Vice-Chancellor

The Office of the Vice-Chancellor (OVC) supports the University’s Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Genevieve Bell, in her leadership of The Australian National University (ANU).

The OVC takes responsibility for the strategy and agenda of the Vice-Chancellor; for providing advice and support to the Vice-Chancellor, as well as other ANU leaders; for stewarding the business of the University and managing the University’s leadership committees; and, for coordinating the day-to-day work of the Vice-Chancellor.

The OVC team provide support to the Vice-Chancellor by managing major projects and coordinating the business flow of the University’s primary management committee, Strategic Leadership Group (SLG), as well as the University Leadership Group (ULG). They also provide support for the Chancellor's Office.
