Accessible parking
Conditions of permit parking:
Parking on campus is subject to the Australian Disability Parking Permit conditions.
Further information regarding parking on campus, can be found on the ANU Transport & Parking website.
Please note, if you hold an Australian Disability Parking Permit, and a parking sign indicates a time limit of:
- 30 minute or less: you may park there for up to 2 hours.
- More than 30 minutes: you may park there for as long as you need to.
What do I need to do?
If you already hold an Australian Disability Parking Permit, all you need to do is display it when you park on campus. You will be able to park on campus in accordance with the Australian Disability Parking Permit conditions.
If you do not hold an Australian Disability Parking Permit, you can apply for one through Access Canberra.
Where can I park on-campus?
Holders of an Australian Disability Parking Permit can park in the following areas free of charge:
- Designated disabled parking spots on surface areas.
- All surface permit areas on campus.
- Paystay zones.
- Any permit zones (except for parking stations).
Please note that parking infringements will continue to be enforced outside these areas. Standard parking fees apply for parking at parking stations. Fee information can be found on: Parking fees | Services.
