Chemical Management System (CMS)
Chemwatch is an chemical inventory control system which provides a safe and reliable way of managing chemicals. Chemwatch provides a fit for purpose chemical monitoring system to help mitigate and control chemical risks from at the University and provides immediate access to chemical information on Safety Data Sheets(SDS).
The Chemwatch system has been operational at the Australian National University since the first week of September 2016, following 18 months of consultation, workshops and improvements tailored to the unique requirements of the University. The system is supported by the Work Environment Group and by the local areas. The framework for the system links to the University’s Chemical Policy and the Chemical Management Procedure.
