Licence extension
In November 2025, the University applied for an extension to our self-insurance licence under the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (SRC) Act. In March 2026, the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission (SRCC) approved a 4-year licence extension to 30 June 2030.
There is no change to current workers' compensation arrangements, and no change to employee rights and obligations should they be injured at work.
