Imagery
The ANU Identity Guidelines provide guidance on the University's approach to photography. These are broken down into three key focus areas:
Take an editorial approach
This means looking at how to create a unique image that is striking and memorable.
Celebrate the subject
Whether it's research, a discovery, a person or a place, the imagery shouldn't overwhelm and distract from the central subject.
Capture a sense of reality
Not every image can be perfectly art directed or shot professionally, but that doesn't mean we can't try and capture the true nature of a subject.
The University has a variety of resources to assist photography selection. These are listed on the ANU Identity Hub.
If you are having issues accessing the DAM, do not have a login, or have videography and photography questions please contact the ANU Multimedia team.
