New project to look at WHS Self-Insurance assessment
03 Feb 2015
The Work Health and Safety (WHS) Self-Insurance Assessment Project has been established to review and assess the University's conformance and compliance to Work Health and Safety legislation in comparison to the National Audit Tool for Self-Insurance (Cth).
Due for completion in July 2016, the project will deliver a new WHS system and produce measurable and continuous improvement outcomes in rehabilitation and claims management. Improvements made to the system will also lead to advancing the University's position to become self-insured for worker's compensation insurance.
The first part of the project is underway and involves a review and analysis of current WHS administrative processes.
