Country specific documentation requirements

United States of Americas

All Australian citizens travelling to the USA are required to complete an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) application. ESTA approval authorises a traveller to board a carrier for travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver program. 

Citizens of other countries holding non-Australian passports may require a visa to enter the USA. Individual travellers are responsible for all eligibility requirements of the application process.
