Access cards
Your student or staff card is a very important form of identification whilst studying, working or moving around ANU and it must be carried at all times. This page contains information where to obtain or replace your student and staff card.
I am a new staff - where do I get my card from?
- For new staff members:
New staff requiring staff cards, please visit the provisioning team at Chancelry 10 B (Lower Ground Floor).
Appointment is required, please book an appointment online.

I have lost my student/staff card - what do I do?
Notify ANU Security as soon as possible as this will enable ANU Security to de-authorise the card and will prevent unauthorised use. To do this, pleas email security@anu.edu.au

- For replacement staff cards, please visit ANU Security from Monday - Friday (10 AM - 3 PM).
We are located at Level 1, Fulton Muir Building. The new staff front counter is co-located with ANU Parking.
My access card doesn't work, what do I do?
Contact ANU Security and ask them to check your card details. Please do not come to the counter to have access checked or added as we cannot do this on the spot. Please email security@anu.edu.au
I can't get into my building, what do I do?
If you require access to your building, please do the following:
- Speak to your building custodian to organise access.
- If required, your building custodian may direct you to contact ANU Security for access. Please note that that building access cannot be added in person on-the-spot. Please email security@anu.edu.au to enquire or call 02 6125 2249 for urgent enquiries.
