Self-Insurance
The ANU is a self-insured licensee under the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act), having been granted a licence for the period 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2026.
How are workers’ compensation claims managed?
The University has engaged Comcare to undertake claims management and other specialised services. Comcare Claims Managers are co-located at the University within the Safety and Wellbeing Team and are dedicated to providing accurate and timely determinations in response to claims made.
Where can I obtain assistance?
The Injury Management Team within Safety and Wellbeing are available to provide advice and assistance in the event that you need to make a claim.
