Mac Eduroam connection guide

  1. Select System Preferences from the Apple menu
  2. Double-click Network
  3. Select AirPort and turn off
  4. Click Advanced
  5. Click + to add a new profile
  6. Type eduroam (is case-sensitive)
  7. Select Security: WPA2 Enterprise
  8. Enter your login information:
    • Username: University ID and domain (eg. 'u1234567@anu.edu.au' or 'u1234567@unsw.edu.au' etc)
    • Password: password from your institution
  9. Select 802.1X: Auto
  10. Tick Remember this network
  11. Click Add
  12. Tick Disconnect from wireless networks when logging out
  13. Click Ok
  14. Click Apply
  15. Turn AirPort on and connect to ANU-Secure
  16. Verify connectivity. Try browsing to an off-campus website to verify your connection is working.
