Role-based email lists

Role-based email lists are based on a staff member's position and are designed to target people with a specific administrative role-for example Financial, Human Resources, and Student Administration.

Role-based email lists are automatically generated based on position data recorded in the ANU Human Resource Management System (HRMS). Information is available to staff on how to add a position category for administrative email lists. The responsibility for recording this position data rests with each business area's Human Resources team.

Subscription to role-based email list is formulated using the HRMS. All role-based email lists are private and list names are not publicly advertised.

Posting to these lists is restricted and managed by the relevant area and the list owner, and all postings are archived.

Role-based email lists have been created for:

  • Governance Administration
  • Delegations Administration
  • Human Resources Administration
  • Occupational Health & Safety Administration
